1) What happens during a Mole Map session?

1) What happens during a Mole Map session?

The photography will take place within a clinic environment; a chaperone will be available as required, for both your protection and that of the photographer. Photographs will be taken by a registered, qualified and accredited clinical photographer. A full Mole Map will require that you undress to your underwear, but you will be able to elect how extensive you wish the mapping to be. Normally 25 to 30 pictures will be taken, with extra close up views of any unusual moles. Some people elect to just have their backs photographed, since this is the most difficult area to observe for yourself. All pictures are taken digitally and are stored securely in password protected files with no names and identifiable images held together. The images will be provided to you as either a CD-Rom for viewing on your computer or television, or as a set of prints to make comparison and checking easy.
